Fundraising concert at the Royal Albert Hall – 20 April 2010
“Stu Steps Up” is the story of 49-year-old Stuart Nixon who was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis at the age of 18.
In October 2013 Stuart walked across London; there was only one catch, he couldn’t walk. Stuart has spent the past 15 years in a wheelchair and can only move his left arm and leg. Despite not being able to walk more than a few steps without collapsing, he managed to raise more than £60,000 for the MS Society’s 60th anniversary by walking 60 kilometres through London.
